One of the Starborn, Karsh began life on Earth as a young man named Tim. Upon arriving at David’s house for that fateful campaign, he was sucked into the portal to Ashfar along with the others. He awoke in the body of a massive half-orc, and took the name of Karsh.
Like most of the Starborn, Karsh has a lot to adjust to. Gaining a foot in height and a hundred pounds of muscle have given him a physical presence that can be intimidating to the smaller races. Strangely, this does not seem to concern Karsh, and he seems to be adapting to the half-orc life with ease. His personality seems to have altered a bit as well. While Tim was a very calm, generally unflappable person, he now has a deep rage lurking within his breast that he struggles to suppress. When he lets it show in battle, it is a terrifying sight.
When not in combat, Karsh has a quick, sardonic wit and is prone to making off-color jokes that, from his old boyish form seemed cute, but in his new brutish shape come off as intimidating. Karsh has a soft spot for children and is protective of those smaller than him.
Karsh is the first of the Starborn to discover his signature item, the Sword of Starkweather John.
